GROUP MENTORING ONE ON ONE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM

One On One Guidance

Mentoring is ideally a one-to-one, committed, non-judgmental, and positive relationship provided by a prepared individual who offers guidance to enhance a child’s self-esteem, knowledge, skills, values, and ethics.

Urban Impact is launching its one-on-one mentoring program in 2009. The boys of Urban Impact will be matched up with male mentors for a one year relationship. The program is designed to help these boys overcome the effects that are associated with the label “At-Risk”, such as mental health problems, behavioral disorders
and a poor self-image.
