Residential Program

Currently Urban Impact uses Pillar of Fire dormitory space, Zarephath Christian Church classrooms and Somerset Christian Academy’s gymnasium. In 2010 we plan to begin construction of the Urban Impact Center that will include two full-sized basketball courts, a performing arts center, a fitness room, locker rooms, a kitchen, classrooms, and office space.
Journey to greater impact

In the future we will be welcoming up to 20 program participants for a residential program to help prepare them for college through a college preparation course that will focus on their academics. These boys will also be helped with a scholarship to a college. This residential academic program will also include international exposure through one or more of the Pillar of Fire mission programs. The goal is to complete the loop of impact as these young men return to their communities as ministers, educators and/or business leaders.

Residential Program Benefits:

  • Long term life skills
  • Academic help and guidance
  • Responsibility building
  • Supportive & loving home environment
